Beograd - Promet na Beogradskoj berzi ne može da prođe bez blok-trgovanja akcijama Pekabete. I juče se u trgovanju našao veći broj hartija od vrednosti tog trgovinskog preduzeća (127.029 komada ili 24,7 odsto ukupnog broja akcija). Cena je nepromenjena (5.800 dinara), dok je obim trgovanja premašio 736 miliona dinara. Izgleda da je u toku promena vlasničke strukture Pekabete i zamena dosadašnjeg većinskog vlasnika (kompanija Delta Real Estate d.o.o.), što će se znati za nekoliko dana, posle saldiranja transakcija u Centralnom registru hartija od vrednosti Republike Srbije. Veći deo preostalog prometa ostvarenog van te blok-transakcije odnosi se na trgovanje akcijama AIK banke iz Niša (203,5 miliona dinara). Na kupovinu vlasničkih papira Agrobanke potrošeno je 22,5 miliona dinara, uz rast cene od 8,9 odsto. Akcijama zemunskog Planuma trgovano je za 17,1 milion dinara, a Vino Župom za 5,9 miliona dinara. Veći promet ostvaren je i kupoprodajom hartija od vrednosti preduzeća Jedinstvo iz Sevojna (4,7 miliona dinara), a investitori su bili zainteresovani za ulaganje u obveznice Republike Srbije (532.324 evra). Najtraženija je bila serija A2008K na koju je potrošeno 256.064 evra.
Od 126 emisija akcija kojima se juče trgovalo većem broju (44) raste, a manjem (2 Cool

pada cena. Posebno se ističu akcije banaka koje su sve, osim Univerzal banke završile u plusu. Akcije Jubmes banke beleže rast po stopi od 5,5 odsto, Privredne banke 4,3 odsto, dok Komercijalna i AIK banka cenu svojih akcija uvećavaju za 3,2, odnosno 2,2 odsto. Indeksni pokazatelji "reagovali" su na kretanja na berzi, pa je BELEXLINE povećao vrednost za 1,8 odsto, BELEX15 za 1,4 odsto, a srpski indeks na Bečkoj berzi beleži pad vrednosti (0,4 odsto).

SPOR AD „SINTELON” I 3.500 BIVŠIH AKCIONARA

Sudski spor između Akcionarskog društva “Sintelon” u Bačkoj Palanci i oko 3.500 bivših akcionara koji su se pre skoro jedne decenije za 100 nemačkih maraka odrekli prava na kupovinu po 60 običnih akcija četvrte emisije serije D s datumom emisije od 30. septembra 1998. godine- upravo je pred prvim sudskim epilogom. Pre nekoliko godina formirano je udruženje malih akcionara, koji smatraju da su u ovoj trgovini “Sintelonovim” akcijama oštećeni.

U ime oko 3.500 navodno oštećenih, mada je broj veći i kreće se oko 5.000, Opštinskom sudu u Bačkoj Palanci tužbu je podnelo tridesetak njihovih predstavnika. Glavna usmena i javna rasprava zaključena je 7. septembra prošle godine, oštećene zastupa jedna beogradska advokatska kancelarija, a “Sintelon” četvoročlana ekipa, takođe iz Beograda. Tridesetak tužilaca smatra da su u proseku oštećeni svako za oko 600.000 dinara, što je ukupno 20 miliona dinara.

S ozbirom da se u Bačkoj Palanci, pa i u pojedinim medijima, barata ciframa i presudom, odgovor smo potražili u Opštinskom sudu u Bačkoj Palanci od sudije Miodraga Samardžije, ali smo obavešteni da upravo radi na tekstu odluke o ovom parničnom predmetu. Obećano nam je da ćemo informacije dobiti posle Božićnih praznika. Obratili smo se i udruženju malih akcionara, ali na zakazanom satanak niko od njih se nije pojavio.

Ma kakav bila odluke prvostepenog suda, jasno je da to nije kraj i da ona strana koja ne bude zadovoljna ima pravo žalbe Okruženom sudu u Novom Sadu, a sve će biti jasnije kada se sazna šta je tačno presudio Opštinski sud u Bačkoj Palanci.

Nije tajna da se dosta ljudi iz Bačke Palanke i drugih mesta u Srbiji već preračunava, mada advokati upozoravaju da je konačna presuda daleko. Svojevremeno, kada je pokrenuta parnica, predstavnici poslovodstva velike srpske kompanije “Sintelona”, koji je u međuvremenu preuzeo međunarodni “Tarket”, jedan od najvećih svetskih proizvođača podova, izjavili su da će poštovati konačnu sudsku odluku, ma kakva ona bila. Oni koje vole da broje tuđ novac izračunali su da bi, ukoliko bude usvojen zahtev 3.500 tužilaca, cifra premašila milijardu dinara.

U.S. Stocks Fall Most in 5 Months on Weaker Jobs, Manufacturing

Jan. 5 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. stocks had the steepest weekly loss since July after unemployment increased to a two-year high and manufacturing declined, bolstering speculation that a recession will stymie profit growth.

Intel Corp. tumbled the most since January 2006, leading semiconductor shares in the Standard & Poor's 500 Index to the biggest drop in 5 1/2 years. D.R. Horton Inc., Centex Corp., Hovnanian Enterprises Inc. and other homebuilders staged the biggest slump since the September 2001 terrorist attacks. Citigroup Inc., Fannie Mae and National City Corp. drove the S&P 500 Financials Index to the lowest in 38 months.

``There's a lot of blood. It has not been pretty,'' said Joseph Keating, who helps manage about $3 billion as chief investment officer at First American Asset Management in Birmingham, Alabama. ``How slow is the economy going to be and what does it mean for earnings? That for me is the big issue.''

The S&P 500 retreated 4.5 percent to 1,411.63 this week, the steepest fall in five months. The Dow Jones Industrial Average slumped 4.2 percent to 12,800.18. That brought its loss since Dec. 31 to 3.5 percent, the worst first three days of any year since 1904, according to Bloomberg data. The Nasdaq Composite Index declined 6.4 percent to 2,504.65, the lowest since April.

Smaller companies fell more. The Russell 2000 Index, whose members have a median market value of $541 million, lost 6.5 percent to 721.6.

Treasuries Gain

The Treasury market is off to its best start since 2001 as the higher jobless rate and the biggest decline in manufacturing in five years prompted bets that the Federal Reserve will cut borrowing costs more than forecast to prevent a recession.

The yield on the two-year note fell as much as 0.45 point this week to 2.66 percent, the lowest since November 2004. Traders for the first time priced in a 50 percent probability the Fed will lower its target interest rate to 3.75 percent from 4.25 percent when policy makers meet at the end of the month.

Four hundred eighty-one stocks and all 24 industries in the S&P 500 retreated.

Intel dropped 15 percent to $22.67 this week. Bank of America Corp. analysts cut their rating to ``neutral'' from ``buy,'' saying profit growth that exceeds analysts' estimates ``will be hard to come by.'' Analysts at JPMorgan Chase & Co. also downgraded the shares, predicting a slowdown in orders from personal-computer makers that may result in ``downside to estimates'' in the first half of 2008.

Intel's slump helped send the S&P 500 Semiconductors & Semiconductor Equipment Index to a 12 percent decline.

D.R. Horton Dives

Fifteen homebuilders in S&P indexes lost 13 percent as a group. D.R. Horton plunged 17 percent to $10.92, Centex fell 16 percent to $20.91 and Hovnanian dropped 14 percent to $5.86.

U.S. payrolls grew by 18,000 last month, about one-quarter the rate forecast by economists, and unemployment increased to 5 percent, the Labor Department said yesterday.

``The job market certainly is weakening along with housing,'' said Joseph Veranth, who helps manage about $2.8 billion as chief investment officer at Dana Investment Advisors in Brookfield, Wisconsin. ``We're going to have slower growth in '08. The stock market is in the middle of reevaluating earnings right now.''

The Institute for Supply Management's manufacturing index dropped to 47.7, the lowest since April 2003. The Jan. 2 report, combined with a rise in the price of oil to a record $100 a barrel, spurred concern that the housing recession and slowdown in spending will halt the six-year expansion in the world's biggest economy.

Citigroup, the largest U.S. bank, slid 3.6 percent to $28.24. Fannie Mae, the nation's biggest provider of money for home loans, retreated 11 percent to $34.05.

Begun in 1935

National City decreased 12 percent to $14.50, the lowest since June 1995. Ohio's largest bank said it will eliminate 900 jobs and halve the quarterly dividend, the first reduction since the payout began in 1935.

Ford Motor Co. fell to the lowest since 1986 after losing its status as the No. 2 seller of autos in the U.S. for the first time in three-quarters of a century. Toyota Motor Corp., which modeled itself on Ford following World War II, overtook the Dearborn, Michigan-based automaker on its home turf. Ford lost 8.5 percent to $6.13.

Monster Worldwide Inc., the largest provider of job listings, dropped 16 percent to $27.73, the lowest in 30 months. A ``material deterioration in U.S. online recruitment activity is underway,'' American Technology Research analyst Tim Boyd said.

Non-Government Payrolls

Excluding a gain in government jobs, U.S. payrolls fell last month for the first time since July 2003, hurt by losses in manufacturing, construction and the retail industry.

Alcoa Inc., the world's third-largest maker of aluminum, is scheduled next week to become the first member of the Dow average to report results for the fourth quarter. Alcoa, whose figures are due Jan. 9, lost 5.4 percent to $34.87 for the steepest decline since July.

Monsanto Co. climbed 7.5 percent to a record $119.63, the biggest gain in the S&P 500. The world's largest seed producer more than doubled first-quarter profit and raised this year's earnings forecast after demand for food and biofuels boosted corn plantings in South America.

A report next week from the National Association of Realtors may show the number of Americans signing contracts to buy previously owned homes declined in November after unexpectedly rising for a second month in October. The Commerce Department may also say the U.S. trade deficit widened in November, according to the average estimate of economists surveyed by Bloomberg.

The Chicago Board Options Exchange Volatility Index, the benchmark for U.S. option prices, surged 15 percent to 23.94 for its biggest weekly gain in two months. Higher readings in the so-called VIX, derived from prices paid for S&P 500 options, indicate expectations of bigger share-price swings in the next 30 days.

Completion of the acquisition of JSC Robne kuce Beograd

The acquisition of the largest department store chain in Serbia, JSC Robne kuce Beograd ('RKB') by Marfin Investment Group Holdings SA ('MIG') and Verano Motors d.o.o ('Verano') was completed today. As a result of the transaction, MIG has now acquired a 66.67% equity interest in RKB, subject to approval by the competition authorities. The participation of the MIG partly came from the share capital increase and the Athens Stock Exchange will be informed according to the Law.

As previously published, on 29 October 2007 Verano won the public auction for RKB, which was conducted by the Serbian Privatisation Agency, with a winning bid of euros 360 million. RKB has historically been the leading department store chain in the countries of the former Yugoslavia and among the largest chains across Europe. RKB owns a significant real estate portfolio comprising assets in some of the most attractive and central locations in all major cities across Serbia and Montenegro, with a total area of approximately 232,000 sq.m., and including:

- 32 department stores in Serbia (9 of which in Belgrade)
- 3 department stores and 1 warehouse facility in Montenegro
- 1 logistics centre and 1 business centre in Belgrade

RKB's real estate developments are ideally suited to accommodate a wide range of businesses such as retail stores for apparel, technology and telecom products, super markets, quick service restaurants, bank branches and offices. In that respect, MIG believes that significant synergies exist with MIG's other investments. MIG's portfolio companies that will seek to aggressively expand in the Serbian market, through the RKB platform, will be able to operate their distribution network on premium locations across the country. The acquisition of RKB represents one of the largest real estate transactions ever in Southeastern Europe and the largest acquisition in Serbia across all sectors for 2007.
